Earth Day Event at Kualoa Hedge

EVENT: Bottles & Cans Sorting, Education by LbE Hawaii, Beach Cleanup with 4ocean

WHAT TO EXPECT: In recognition of Earth Day, LbE Hawaii is teaming up with Bottles4College and 4ocean to sort out recyclable bottles or cans from the community (to later be donated to Bottles4College to fund deserving individuals for a full ride scholarship to college), along with a cleanup with 4ocean at the Kualoa Beach. LbE Hawaii will assist with volunteers as well as providing interactive education on sustainability during the event.

LOCATION: Find the hedge sign that spells out "KUALOA" at Kualoa Ranch

THINGS TO BRING:

• Plastic-free water bottle
• Reef safe sunscreen
• Covered-toe shoes
• Mask (optional)
• Gloves (though Bottles4College may have extra...)
• *Optional* Cans/bottles to recycle (and donate to Bottles4College)

PLEASE DO NOT BRING:

• Alcoholic beverages 
• Plastic (try your best to not bring any single use plastic items to this event)

ATTIRE: Casual (beware that you may get dirty from the items that need to be sorted or picked up from the beach)

PARKING: Anywhere onsite. LbE Hawaii is not responsible for theft or damage of your vehicle. Please be responsible in locking your car and not leaving any valuables in your vehicle.
