What is Exploration Program?

The Exploration Program is an LbE Hawaii exclusive program where SCAVENGER HUNT meets HIGH TECH. LbE Hawaii offers participant groups 4 unique locations in Hawaii to explore: Honolulu, Waikiki, University of Hawaii at Manoa, or Hilo on the Big Island. These locations offer more than just site seeing and shopping - from culture to meeting new people to learning history. Instead of a guided tour of these locations, student participants become a team of explorers and must navigate around using only a provided map and app-based program. As a competition, teams must earn as many points as possible by discovering various zones and solving missions. Islanders act as silent tour guides, assisting students to think critically, as well as opening up discussions at each zone.

Activities

• Exploration Waikiki - Your group is tasked to find as many zones as they can, complete missions and tasks, to earn points and a chance to win the most points for a prize! Each group will use a provided tablet to operate an app to run the program.

Compensation

Bronze (1~5 events completed) - $50.00 + 200 Paradise Points

Silver (6~10 events completed) - $55.00 + 250 Paradise Points 

Gold (11~15 events completed) - $60.00 + 300 Paradise Points

Platinum (16+ events completed) - $65.00 + 350 Paradise Points 

Islanders will NOT be having lunch with students.
